Outreach Beyond Stanford
The DEI recruitment mission is to ensure visibility of Stanford's School of Earth, Energy & Environmental Sciences at conferences and events, as well as to recruit students who add diversity to our departments and programs.
Recruitment ConferencesR
- American Geophysical Union (AGU) Conference
- American Indians in Science and Engineering Society (AISES) national conference
- Geological Society of America (GSA) Conference
- Ecological Society of America Conference
- Ivy Plus Symposium
- National Association of Black Geologists and Geophysics (NABG) technology conference
- Society for Advancement of Chicanos and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS) national conference
We are also actively collaborating with members of the Stanford community to recruit at campus graduate school fairs and to visit various colleges and universities, including minority-serving institutions (R1s, HBCUs, and HSIs) where we conduct informational sessions.
To learn more about how to meaningfully engage with different audiences visit our DEI library.
