Many PhD students and postdocs wonder about their next steps. Should I complete my PhD? Should I pursue academic, industry or government related positions? What are my options that would be best suited for me?

This 5 session seminar class -- Thursdays from 2:30-4:30 pm -- is designed to help you gain a better sense about your future plans. The dates are 10/1, 10/8, 10/15, 10/22, 10/29. There will be a number of assessments to help you understand what's important to you, and activities to help gain insight into the world of work. By the end of the seminar you will have a clearer sense of what next steps you should take as you continue your journey as a growing professional.

• Attendance is mandatory as each week builds upon the other and group feedback is essential. If you are accepted into the program, you acknowledge that you will arrive on time and fully attend each session associated with the event/program.
