Meet Judy Terry Smith, one of the first Stanford Earth graduate students who completed a master's and a doctorate degrees in geology in the 1960s-1970s. Earth sciences librarian Julie Sweetkind- Singer will lead this conversation to learn more about the experiences of women in Stanford Earth and in the geosciences in general, as well as the role of leaders like Judy shaping the School to create more welcoming spaces for female students and faculty.
