Kate is the Design Principal at Restoration Landscape Company and a Registered Landscape Architect. Kate’s work draws on her interdisciplinary Earth Systems background. She integrates understanding of ecology and a multi-scaled systems approach into her work, aiming to create a matrix of native habitat patches and corridors in urban public spaces and residential backyards. She is energized by working with clients and communities to realize a collective design vision.

Before RLC, Kate worked at SCAPE Landscape Architecture DPC in New York City where she played a critical role in the design and construction of several projects, including a large resilience planning project in Norfolk, VA and a water plaza in Manhattan, NY.

Kate holds a Master in Landscape Architecture from University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Science in Earth Systems from Stanford University.

Come hear Kate discuss her career and path after Stanford!
