Are you going on the academic job market this year? Would you like to know more about the faculty search process and the components of a great application?

If so, the Faculty Job Search Bootcamp (May 17-20) is for you! We’ll have sessions which help you understand the job process, walk you through the components of a competitive application (CV, diversity/research/teaching statements), and prepare you for a successful interview (job talk, etc).

Please apply for each session individually; registration closes on Tuesday, May 11th at 10AM.

In their efforts to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion, universities and employers are increasingly requiring prospective postdocs, fellows and employees to include a diversity statement in their application materials. This workshop will show you how to approach the diversity statement as a story about the intersections at which you stand and how those intersections inform your scholarship and teaching. In collaboration with others, you will review the basic characteristics of successful diversity statements and then work on your own, whether a first draft or one you’ve already written.
