DESCRIPTION OF WORKSHOP:
Please join us for the Winter GRAD 201 Conflict Resolution Series. We will explore why conflict is scary, conflict styles, managing emotions during conflict and strategies for addressing specific types of conflict. Participation in all sessions is not required but recommended.

January 19th 5pm
Why Is Conflict So Scary & What Can We Do About It?
We will explore why conflict is scary, conflict styles and managing emotions during conflict.

February 2nd, 5pm
Peer Conflict
We will discuss peer conflict and provide participants an opportunity to practice conflict resolution strategies. This may include interpersonal conflict with a roommate, lab mate, or colleague. Active participation by registrants is encouraged.

February 23rd, 5pm
Advisor/Supervisor Conflict
We will discuss conflict when there is an imbalance of power in a relationship. and provide participants an opportunity to practice conflict resolution strategies. We will specifically focus on the advisor, primary investigator or supervisor relationship. Active participation by registrants is encouraged.
