The University Libraries and the Carpentries at Stanford have established a series of workshops focused on: R, Python, Git, the command Shell, Make and automation, MATLAB, GDAL, cloud computing, and high performance computing. Questions, please email Zac Painter at

Join us for an interactive workshop on best practices for writing methods for all types of research. You'll also learn about the features of and test out writing your protocols or methods in this platform, which is provided to all Stanford affiliates free of charge via the Dean of Research's Office.
