New Alumni Council to Advise Dean
The newly created Alumni Council will contribute to the design of alumni activities and advise on how best to engage alumni in the life of the school.
The newly created Alumni Council, chaired by Jake Covault, met on campus for the first time in April 2015. Tasked with advising the dean on the school’s alumni programs and services, members were recruited across decades and degree programs to serve three-year terms. The council will contribute to the design of alumni activities and advise on how best to engage alumni in the life of the school.
“We value our alumni and want all of them to value and stay connected with the school. I think we’ll gain important insight from the perspectives of this group, and great direction to guide us as we look for ways to improve alumni engagement,” said Dean Pamela Matson.
