 October 2014 Arianna Gleason will be receiving this year's Mineral and Rock Physics Early Career Award from American Geophysical Union in December AGU San Francisco meeting.

 October 2014 Wendy, Yu, Crystal and Fan went to UCLA for the Deep Carbon Observatory Extreme Physics and Chemistry workshop.
